Camille Dawson

In 2017 I worked in a South African village in the Karoo. Alongside other local artists, I devised and ran creative workshops in which I worked collaboratively with the students to translate their real-life experiences into original theatre & film. We created an original short film called 'Uneven Sisters' which they took to South African film festivals and universities. Multiple students since have gone on to study film and acting, becoming the first in their families to go to university.
